Amaura chegou para escrever uma página no histórico da soul em Portugal. Após anos a colaborar com artistas de rap, reivindicou um espaço próprio. Foi na soul e no r&b que encontrou abrigo. Em paralelo, acompanhou Sam The Kid nos históricos concertos de regresso do patriarca do rap português.
Em 2023, chega o sucessor Subespécie, uma assumida libertação interior após a perda da mãe. O álbum parte de um imenso vazio para se transformar e elevar, quer como celebração da vida, quer como ode ao amor próprio.

Amaura arrived to write a page in the history of soul music in Portugal. After years of collaborating with rap artists, she claimed a space of her own. It was in soul and r&b that she found shelter. At the same time, she accompanied Sam The Kid at the historic comeback concerts of the patriarch of Portuguese rap.
In 2023, the successor Subespécie arrived, an outspoken inner liberation after the loss of her mother. The album starts from an immense emptiness to transform and elevate itself, both as a celebration of life and as an ode to self-love.

Amaura ist gekommen, um ein neues Kapitel in der Geschichte der Soulmusik in Portugal zu schreiben. Nachdem sie jahrelang mit Rap-Künstlern zusammengearbeitet hatte, beanspruchte sie ihren eigenen Raum. Im Soul und R&B fand sie Unterschlupf. Gleichzeitig begleitete sie Sam The Kid bei den historischen Comeback-Konzerten des Patriarchen des portugiesischen Rap.
Im Jahr 2023 erschien der Nachfolger Subespécie, eine unverblümte innere Befreiung nach dem Verlust ihrer Mutter. Das Album geht von einer immensen Leere aus, um sich zu verwandeln und zu erheben, sowohl als eine Feier des Lebens als auch als eine Ode an die Selbstliebe.
